I would like to apply for South Africa citizenship by naturalization. Travel records of the past 5 yrs are required. Unfortunately, i lost my port in April 2018 which means i don't have any records prior to that date. How can i successful convince Dept of Home Affairs that i never left South Africa for more than 90 days in the past 5 yrs? Can i use an affidavit, employer's letter or bank statement at least to prove that i was around.

I attended induction on the 23rd of May 2023 in Johannesburg. No certificate yet.

Any news yet on the certificate? I believe the certificate would be within 3 weeks from now. Usually 3 months after attending the inductions!

Hi good day, just checking if induction depends on province you applied.. if you applied in kzn is the induction in kzn? How long did you have to wat between approval and induction? Thanks
