I'm sure my situation has been covered before on this site. But since things can always change, I'll post this question to get the benefit of the most recent experience in this.
I'm coming to the Philippines to retire in a few weeks. Plan to get the SRRV Extended Courtesy Visa. Towards that end I sent off proof of income and my copies of my DD214s over two months ago for apostille by the State Department.
Haven't heard squat from them yet. The check sent hasn't been cashed so I'm betting they're still very slowly working on it, if at all.
There's no doubt in my mind I'll be in the Philippines by the time the chair polishers get their rears in gear.
So, here's the question. In the very likely (to my mind anyway) event that I'll be resubmitting those documents, how does it get done in the Philippines? I'm sure my situation can't be unique.
Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.
