Student here with FNB. I am traveling abroad and want to activate my FNB bank card for international transactions, but FNB is giving me hell!
Even though I technically activated my card for the countries I planned to visit, I am required to show proof of funds in some way.
I am currently self funded and doing freelance work with a US-based company, which they don't seem to acknowledge. They are asking for inward swifs.
Has anyone experienced difficulties activating their SA bank cards for international trips? Are all the banks like this or is it just fnb?
