Hi. We have lived in Canada since 2008, but have always kept our Barclays , as hubby gets a UK pension. Now Barclays is telling us that, by October at the latest, they will close our .
Have others experienced this and, if so, what did you do? Did you open a new with another UK bank (if so, which bank?), or ed the pension people to have monthly deposits made to your Canada (which will no doubt result in monthly fees, and crappy exchange rates due to smaller amounts being transferred)?
