If you put a contract with permanent job. They can reject your CSV renewal on the basis that you cant be(shouldnt be) permanently employed.

 

You can also say your permanent position is subject obtaining the relevant work permit/visa.

Hi all, I have a critical skills visa but I got a new job, so I’ve submitted a new application which I had to appeal because one of the documents expired. I’m still waiting for my appeal Is it possible I can convince the company to start working pending the time appeal will be out?

The real question is why you did not apply for a PRP during the past 4 or 5 years. If your skill is listed as CS, you can basicially get PRP in 6 months. And you don't have to worry about any visa related issue in future.

 

My skill has been removed from the current Critical Skills List. However, I received a Critical Skills Letter from IITPSA that lists a skill currently included on the Critical Skills List. I am uncertain whether I am eligible to apply for Permanent Residence, a visa renewal, or if I need to apply for a new visa based on the updated skill.Tx
