It's not unusual at all to wait 3+ months for security clearance after being accepted for any Abu Dhabi Gov't entity. My SC took around 7 months with Adnoc. Your employer has zero control over the security clearance, as its done by an external Gov't agency nor can they enquire. All you can do is wait and hope for the best.....you might get your SC tomorrow or it might take another 3 months.

 

Hi I cleared the interview and was asked to submit my documents for verification last October. They have been completely silent since then. Also in the portal my update was initially Application for hire pending...now it has changed to Interview shortlisted. Radio silence from their side since last October

The semester starts the beginning of August and there are still no news as we are close to end of the month of June. I am located in North America and I hope I will have some time to prepare before moving if it works out. How long did it take before you received an offer and had to relocate? Any information you can provide about the next steps of the process would be helpful.

I also have the same status. I have been shortlisted since November last year. Every time I send an email to the recruiter she replies the same "waiting hiring manager approval".
