Hello Hombre, I come bearing great news. Been waiting for my TRR since 2022 i submitted, so yeah went for Collection today. It was approved section 11/6. Yeah and so it would aid in the approval of my PRP Appeal. Last year my prp was rejected but this year i got my TRR renewed. Glory be to God

Morning. Its a standard procedure. What it means is that, ur application at a section where they would check ur documents. And decide if it must proceed to the next stage wich is 1st Quality Assurance.
So yeah u still bit far behind. U might be looking at 1 year or more before u get an outcome cus its Section 26 application.
I woukd suggest u jusg look away from that application and start working on ur renewals. If its almost expiring.. Renew it

I think things will move much quicker. That's what the DA minister said.

For what it's worth: I submitted my 26(b) spousal PR application in March 2019 and I'm happy to announce I picked up my approved permit on Friday. After waiting for five years I enlisted the help of an attorney's office in Cape Town, who sent a letter of demand. This made all the difference for me, and got the application moving again.
